i've made the tough decision to shutdown IMPERIAL. IMPERIAL started in 2021 as a small pastebin site where you could share text and code snippets easily. while niche, a lot of people actually ended up using and relying on it for their passion projects. some even used it as a small json database.

i've been struggling to find time maintaining it, and the need of a pastebin is at an all time low. the code is of course still available and you can find it here.

i will be saving the database for a year, i will then nuke it for privacy reasons. if you want to dump all of your (non-expired) documents or delete your data before the 1 year grace period, please email me at imperial@cody.bio. note that if you want your e2e encrypted documents, the only thing i can provide is the encrypted contents. you will need to decrypt it yourself with the password.
